Total blackout. And it's soft and silky. The only thing that i wish I knew is that there is a small opening that light can come through at the nose bridge. This may be because I have a small or maybe too big nose that the cover tents a little. But since everywhere else is total blackout, it doesn't bother me.

I have had millions of masks over the years and hated most of them. This is the FIRST eye mask that actually fits my face, including my nose. I find that most masks are built with men in mind, and so they're generally overly large, drooping down and covering a good deal of my nose. I find anything pressing against my nose to be supremely uncomfortable, as I can't breathe as easily, and usually toss them after a while. This feels like it was built for me. It's wonderfully contoured and cups around my eyes in such a way that I can nearly open them all the way without my eyelashes brushing against the inside. And did I mention there's NO FREAKIN' VELCRO?! How many times have I gotten my hair caught in the freakin' velcro!? I love that this is an easy, adjustable strap with no hair snagging involved. Ladies and smaller-faced men -- buy 'em. 10 outta 10.
